The much-anticipated Nursery Exhibition took place on October 14, 2023, and it was a day filled with excitement and learning. The event was hosted by Miss Zeveteu Ladu, the class teacher of Class Nursery (Grace Toddlers). The exhibition commenced with an opening prayer led by Sir Tinuakum, the science teacher.

The exhibition was divided into five groups, each with a unique team name and a specific area of focus.

The first group, known as the “Lepidopterists,” delved into the captivating life cycle of a butterfly. Students took the stage wearing butterfly models and individually explained the four distinct stages, while two of them gracefully rotated a life cycle model.

The “Anatomists,” a group of five enthusiastic students, spotlighted the intricate workings of the human body. They pointed out and explained the different parts and functions of our body systems, covering the circulatory, skeletal, nervous, respiratory, and digestive systems with the help of informative models.

In the “Physicist” group, children had a hands-on experience with the concept of “sink or float.” They experimented with various objects, discovering which ones sank and which ones floated. Furthermore, they explained the science behind these phenomena, captivating the audience.

The “Capillary Action” group explored the fascinating world of how water moves. With the aid of drinking glasses, food coloring, water, and tissues, the students conducted experiments to showcase the concept of water walking. They also dabbled in color mixing, demonstrating the magical outcome of different colors blending together.

The “Zoologists” shared their knowledge about the diversity of animals, focusing on water, farm, wild, insects, and birds. They emphasized the special roles and significance of these creatures in our world, leaving the audience with a newfound appreciation for the animal kingdom.

One of the most impressive aspects of the exhibition was the students’ ability to confidently answer questions posed by the audience. They demonstrated creativity, imagination, and a deep understanding of their subjects, showcasing not only subject knowledge but also developing strong communication skills and self-assuredness.

The students enthusiastically shared their topics with the visitors, leaving the audience thrilled and applauding their diligent efforts. The exhibition was a testament to the dedication of both the students and teachers, and it celebrated not only their academic achievements but also their growth in creativity and confidence.

The program concluded with a closing prayer by Madam Spurna, the class teacher of Class 1B, who praised the students’ hard work and the success of the exhibition. The Nursery Exhibition was a remarkable journey of discovery and learning, highlighting the potential and talent of these young learners.
