Grace Academy hosted an engaging Extempore Competition for the Grade 5 students on 21st September, 2024. The competition began with a preliminary screening round, where students were evaluated based on their speaking skills. Out of all participants, 12 students were selected to proceed to the final competition.

The competition was held in two rounds. In the first round, all 12 participants delivered speeches on various topics drawn at random. The students showcased their quick thinking and eloquence, making the task of the judges challenging.

After a rigorous evaluation, 5 finalists were shortlisted to move on to the second and final round. The finalists impressed the audience and judges alike with their clarity of thought, confidence, and creativity.

At the conclusion of the event, the winners were announced:

• Wadangkokba Ketholeto Yaden of Grade 5A secured the first prize.
• Rachika Sah of Grade 5A earned the second prize.
• Invito Sumi of Grade 5B claimed the third prize.

The competition provided a wonderful platform for the students to enhance their public speaking abilities and develop confidence in expressing their ideas. Congratulations to the winners and all participants for their outstanding performances!
