On 23rd, 24th and 25th September, 2024, an extempore competition was held for Class 8, 7 and 6 respectively, where all the students from all the classes participated. The extempore competition witnessed participation from 64 enthusiastic students, 25 students from class 6, 22 students from class 7 and 17 students from class 8. Each class had two rounds, where only 5 students from each class were selected to go for the second and final round.
The event commenced with an invocation, seeking God’s grace for a successful program, followed by a series of intellectually stimulating rounds. The rounds were exciting, with students showcasing their ability to think on their feet and speak eloquently on a wide range of topics.
A panel of judges, comprising teachers, had the responsibility of evaluating and scoring the participants based on their content, delivery, and overall presentation. The judges’ expertise ensured a fair and impartial evaluation process.
The participants were judged based on the following criteria: Clarity of thoughts, body language, speaking skill, stage presence, time management and relevant to the topic.
The audience was also engaged, encouraging their peers throughout the competition. The enthusiasm among the participants was palpable, and the competition remained fierce till the very end.
In the final tally, we had a winner, a first runner-up, and a second runner-up, who were all recognized for their exceptional performance and awarded accordingly.
The event concluded with a benediction, thanking God for a successful program and wishing the students continued success in their academic endeavors.
This extempore competition not only tested their knowledge but also encouraged them to engage deeply with their studies across various subjects.
