The Mathematics Quiz Competition was held for students of Class 1 and 2 on 5th August, 2023. The event was held in the school auditorium from 10:00 AM to 1:10 PM. There were 32 students who participated in the competition. For both Class 1 and Class 2, there were 4 groups respectively, competing with each other.

For Class 1, the competition consisted of Six rounds: Round 1 (Supernova), Round 2 (Visual Round), Round 3 (Buzzer Round), Round 4 (Rapid Fire), Round 5 (Word Problem Round) and Round 6 (Fractions Round).

For class 2, the competition consisted of seven rounds: Round 1(Supernova), Round 2 (Visual Round), Round 3 (Route & Direction), Round 4 (Rapid Fire) Round 5 (Word Problem Round), Round 6 (Problem solving Round) and Round 7 (Buzzer round).

1st Place: Zinnia Ezung, Vitho Sumi, Phuleka Hiro Assumi and Dil Nawaz
2nd Place: Rhonbeni Humtsoe, Jozen Tep, Nitivi Awomi and David Gonmei
3rd Place: Amuvi Sumi, Ilovino Sumi, Nipuka Assumi and Kihika Assumi
4rd Place: Kiden Etau, Yuksen Kinghen, Kulusah Vese and Alokito Sumi

For class 2:
1st Place: Aaron Kung, Mhachen Titus Patton, Rokokhou Israil and Yeshikali. P. Kiho
2nd Place: Daniel Shangmonger Imsong, Nipuka Zhimomi, Nimughali and Athena Sumi
3rd Place: Neoning Khartu Monsang, Thejavizo Yano, Kebennye Khing and Nuno Nyekha
4rd Place: Didi Haikam, Sungtilong Jamir, Fiona Yeptho and Oliv Yeptho

The winners of the competition were awarded Prizes and certificates.

The Mathematics quiz competition was a success. It was a great opportunity for students to test their math skills and to have fun. The competition also helped to promote math education in the school.
