Grace Academy Annual Sports Competition, 2022 was held from 9th to 11th
November, 2022. The three-day long sports competition provided the much
anticipated opportunity to the students to showcase their athletic abilities and also
to compete with their fellow students in a spirit of sportsmanship. This was an
event that also gave the students a break from their routine classes and to indulge
themselves in fun and frolic games and activities.

All the students of the primary section (Classes 2 to 6) were divided into four
houses- Red, Blue, Yellow and Green. There were several athletic events like 100
meter race, Relay race, High Jump and Long Jump. Apart from these, many fun
games were also included ranging from various stall games (like balloon pop, dart,
stacking cups, etc), Balloon Fight, Tug of War, Filling the Cup, Sack Race, Spoon
and Marbles Race, etc. Students were also given the opportunity to participate in
group sports like Football under their respective houses.

At the end of the three-day long competition, the Red House emerged victorious
with the maximum points out of the four houses followed by Green House and
Blue House. Special awards were also handed out to the Sportsperson of the Year
wherein Kanovi (Red House) and Lanutula (Green House) from the sub-junior
category and Niuke R.Swu (Blue House) and Sahina Begum (Red House) from
the junior category were declared the Sportspersons of the Year, 2022.
