The day kicked off as soon as I reached School and within no time the students started coming to class. The environment was very chaotic but some other Teachers helped me out. Right after the Parents left their kids, many of them started crying and chasing after their parents so we tried to capture their attention by bringing different playing objects and most of them got busy with the toys. Among 15 kids that were present 6 of them kept crying and the rest were playing. So we took all the kids to the Activity room and continuously played the Nursery Rhymes which were very effective. So that way we managed to grasp their attention and handle the chaotic scenario.

[ngg src=”galleries” ids=”15″ display=”basic_thumbnail”]

Class A

Today
was the first day of the school for the year 2019. By 8:30 the students arrived
with a smile on their face. We started the class with the lord’s prayer and
sang action songs. Later I let them introduce themselves by saying out their
names to the class. Since it was the first day, I told them a story about a
little bird learning to fly which hold a lesson of ‘never give up’. In the next
class the children were taught the three basic emotions .e.g. happy, sad and
angry. As I demonstrated the faces of these three emotions, the whole class
participated in showing how exactly happy, sad angry faces looks like. The
first day, the class was filled with songs, activities and story to make the
children fill comfortable and happy.

[ngg src=”galleries” ids=”16″ display=”basic_thumbnail”]

Class B Section A

It
was the first day of the year. Excitement has filled the air as the students
enter promptly into their new classes. We started with the Lord’s Prayer. We
sang songs together and as an eyes breaker I narrated a story, curiosity filled
their eyes as they gaze with amazement as I sensed more bonding with the
students. We proceeded with more activities about their different emotions which
the students had a lot of fun. It was indeed a great beginning.

[ngg src=”galleries” ids=”18″ display=”basic_thumbnail”]

Class B Section B

Today was my 1st day in grace academy as a class teacher of class B2, I was obviously nervous<del>,</del> but more than that I was excited to meet the students. The day started with me highlighting some of the rules and behaviours as expected from the students, followed by self introduction and teaching of some new songs, we had mathematics class, where children were taught using some educational tools, the children were also taught about the importance of expressing themselves through an activity. By the end of the day the children seemed relaxed and used to the class set-up , some of them wondered why the classes were going on longer than usual, but all were happy to know that they were big boys and girls in big class, so overall we all had a rewarding day.

[ngg src=”galleries” ids=”20″ display=”basic_thumbnail”]

Class 1

25th January, Friday, was the first day of the academic year 2019. The students as well as the teachers were excited for the new adventure together in Class 1. The students were welcomed in their new classroom as they arrived one after another. The students were very interactive and responsive. Nine out of eleven students were present. The classes started with a short morning assembly and followed by introduction. Classroom rules were highlighted and the pros and cons as well. Activities such as; Drawing, story-telling, singing songs individually in front of the class, sharing own experiences during winter vacation, learning emotions and learning vocabularies through games were also carried out in the class. The students were very obedient and were quick to follow and remind each other about the classroom rules. Everyone had an exciting beginning.

[ngg src=”galleries” ids=”23″ display=”basic_thumbnail”]

Class 2

It was the first day of school after the winter holidays. As the children started to gather and enter the classes, we all greeted each other. It was refreshing to see the children back to school after such a long gap. I have sixteen students altogether in my class which is class 2 with new students included. Before we started with our classes, the students were made to say the Lord’s prayer and we sang some songs too and after doing so, since it was the first day of school, I asked all the students to give a brief introduction about themselves so that they may all get to know each other. The students did so as asked but they were a little nervous at first to see new faces and I introduced myself to them too. After that, we did some activities based on their previous lessons to check their knowledge and played some games as well. It was a good start today overall and also I got to learn a lot about the students.

[ngg src=”galleries” ids=”26″ display=”basic_thumbnail”]

Class 3

The first day of school was filled with much anticipation from both the teacher as well as the students. The students were excited and curious for their new class. It started with an introductory session followed by explanation of classroom rules, creative drawing time and storytelling by the students. The teacher also carried out simple exercises and games to make classroom learning fun and interesting. The students responded well to the teachers’ initiatives and made an effort to follow the given instructions. Overall today was a good learning experience for both the students as well the teacher.

[ngg src=”galleries” ids=”27″ display=”basic_thumbnail”]

Class Nursery Today was my first class with the new kids after I officially became a Teacher.
