Poem Recitation Competition for kindergarten\nsection  i,e Nursery (Grace Toddlers),\nclass A (Helping Hands), class B1 (Little Giants), class B2 (Learning Bunnies)  was held on 23th August  2019. The students were given six poems from\nwhich they had to choose one to recite in the competition. The students were\njudged on the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Physical\nPresence                   <\/strong>:\nAuthoritative:  body language shows\ncompelling stage presence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Voice and Articulation  <\/strong>    \n   : Very clear, crisp, mastery of\nrhythm and pace, skillful use of volume and intonation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dramatic Appropriateness  \n<\/strong>: Style of delivery reflects\ninternalization of poem: all gestures and movement feel essential to poem\u2019s\nsuccess.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evidence of understanding   <\/strong>: Masterfully\ninterprets the poem for the audience, deftly revealing the   meaning of the poem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall Performance <\/strong>            :\nCaptivating performance- whole equals \u201cmore than the sum of the parts\u201d: shows\nmastery of recitation skill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
