The Sports Competition for Kindergarten and Class 1 students, held over the course of three exhilarating days from September 16th to 18th, 2023, was a vibrant celebration of energy, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The event was meticulously organized to provide our budding athletes with a platform to showcase their skills, foster camaraderie, and instill a lifelong love for physical activity. The resounding success of this competition stands as a testament to the invaluable role sports play in the holistic development of young minds.

Guiding this event were our dedicated teacher incharges for each house, whose unwavering commitment ensured that every detail, from the selection of sports to the setup of stalls, was executed flawlessly. Their expertise and passion for nurturing young talents were evident in the seamless flow of the competition.

The compere for the sports extravaganza was the ever-energetic Ms. Vinita Chhetri, whose lively commentary and infectious enthusiasm kept the audience engaged and the spirits high throughout the event. Her charismatic presence added an extra layer of excitement to the proceedings, making each moment memorable for both participants and spectators alike.

The list of sports included the heart-pounding 100-meter race, the whimsical balloon fight, the precision-demanding ball and bucket, the adrenaline-pumping obstacle race, the classic potato race, the lively musical race, the thrilling tug of war, and the challenging spoon race. Additionally, the students showcased their skills and precision in the stall games, which featured the ring toss, pyramid game, feed the pig, dart, and drop the coin. Their participation was marked by infectious enthusiasm, and they reveled in the camaraderie and fun that filled each day. As the three days culminated, the Yellow House emerged as the victorious team, followed closely by the Red House in second place, and the Green House securing a commendable third position.

The crowning moment of the event came when our esteemed Head Mistress, Ma’am Abigal, graced the occasion and did the honor of presenting the gleaming trophies to the deserving winners. This Competition not only showcased their impressive skills but also instilled in them values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and the joy of healthy competition. We look forward to nurturing the talents of our young sports stars in future events.
