What qualifications are required?
Applicants should have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree together with a B.Ed.
Is this one position or two?
It is one position for one High School teacher who will teach both Physics and Chemistry.
Will there be a written test?
Yes. The written test will be held on 25 September 2026 at 2:30 p.m. Applicants should submit their complete application on or before 23 September 2026.
What are the usual work hours?
Teacher work hours are normally 7:45 am to 3:30 pm on weekdays. Teachers may occasionally need to complete school work after these hours or at home when required.
May teachers undertake private tuition?
Teachers may not undertake private tuition—at their own residence, at a student’s residence, online or at any other place—without prior permission from the School Authority.
May teachers accept part-time employment or other paid teaching work?
Teachers may not accept or engage in any part-time employment, teaching assignment or other paid work in a school, educational institution, tuition centre, coaching centre or similar institution without the prior written permission of the School Authority.
Is transportation available for teachers?
Pickup transportation is not available. A paid dropping facility after school may be available; please confirm the current arrangement with the school office.
Is accommodation available?
The school does not provide teacher accommodation. Candidates may arrange private accommodation near the school.
Is there a minimum work commitment?
The school expects a minimum commitment of two years, together with a willingness to keep learning and contribute responsibly to school life.
What are the school office hours?
The office is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, and on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturdays from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm. It is closed on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays and on Sundays.
