The Class 5 General Quiz Competition 2025 was held on 2nd Aug 2025, from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, at the School Auditorium. The event was hosted by Miss Withiunile and Sir Tinuakum, and served as an engaging platform to celebrate curiosity, learning, and collaboration. Students from four enthusiastic teams participated in the competition, cheered on by teachers, parents and their fellow classmates.
The program began with a warm welcome, followed by a thoughtful invocation by Miss Neizope. The four participating teams—Veritas, Noesis, Lustra, and Sophos—introduced themselves with great confidence and school spirit, setting a positive and enthusiastic tone for the event.
Quiz Rounds Overview
The quiz consisted of seven well-planned rounds, each aimed at developing a range of academic and practical skills. The competition began with Fusion Current round, an opening round with questions loaded from subjects like computer, Science, English and Social Studies. The first round was followed by the Eye-conic round, a round that challenged students to observe and interpret visuals from Art and Social Studies .
In the Hindi Gyan round, participants engaged with Hindi Poem recitation, showcasing their command of vocabulary and sentence construction. The excitement continued with Wit Slam, a buzzer round that tested the students’ understanding of English Grammar topics.
The quiz then moved into the Maths Activity Round, where students participated in a hands-on task that involved problem-solving using real-life number strategies.There were three activities in that round.
The round was then followed by the fast-paced Electro showdown round—a rapid-fire challenge in which each team sent one representative to answer as many Science questions as possible within a 60-second time limit. In the Techno round, students demonstrated their computer knowledge in a collaborative team work.
Special Segments
In addition to the main quiz rounds, three engaging audience rounds were conducted. Class 4 and 6 students participated in the first audience round, loaded with visual questions of famous personalities in India. Class 5 students participated in the second audience round.The audience from class 5 came forward to solve math activities. The third audience round was for the parents and the round was loaded with math puzzles.
Declaration of Results & Closing Ceremony
The event concluded with the declaration of winners by Sir Tinuakum, keeping the audience in eager anticipation. Certificates and prizes were awarded by the School Administrator, acknowledging the hard work, spirit, and achievements of the winning teams. This was followed by a joyful photo session featuring the Administrator, teachers, parents and all participants—a perfect way to capture the smiles and memories of the day.
A heartfelt vote of thanks was delivered by Miss Withiunile, expressing appreciation to the School Administrator for his continued guidance and support. She also extended her gratitude to the dedicated teachers, parents and enthusiastic students who made the event a success. The competition ended on a thoughtful note with a benediction by Miss Bendanglila, inspiring students to continue their journey of learning with kindness and curiosity.
