Grace Academy School successfully hosted the much-awaited Class–B Math Quiz Competition 2025 on 23rd October, at 11:40 a.m. in the School Auditorium. The event brought together the vibrant young minds of Learning Bunnies and Little Giants, who showcased their mathematical knowledge, quick thinking, and teamwork in an atmosphere of joy and excitement.
Event Overview
From each class, eight students were selected through a screening process, forming a total of four enthusiastic teams:
· Team Math Warriors and Team Math Magicians from Little Giants
· Team Math Bunnies and Team Little Calculators from Learning Bunnies
The quiz featured eight dynamic rounds, each carefully designed to challenge and engage the participants while making mathematics fun and meaningful. The rounds tested not only conceptual understanding but also mental agility, spatial awareness, and problem-solving skills.
Rounds Overview
1. Number Showdown – A thrilling start where students demonstrated their speed and accuracy with number operations.
2. 2D and 3D Shapes – Participants identified and described shapes, showcasing their understanding of geometric concepts.
3. Cardinal Directions & Spatial Language – This round tested students’ understanding of direction, position, and movement in space.
4. Rapid Fire Round – A fast-paced challenge that kept both the audience and participants on edge with quick mental math questions.
5. Ten Frame – Students applied number sense skills to complete and interpret ten-frame patterns.
6. Days of the Week and Months of the Year – An engaging memory and sequencing round that brought a cheerful energy to the hall.
7. Count by 2s, 5s & 10s – Students showcased fluency in skip counting and pattern recognition.
8. Word Problems & Make a Statement – The final round combined logic, comprehension, and reasoning, allowing students to connect mathematics with real-life contexts.
Each round was a celebration of learning, marked by teamwork, confidence, and enthusiasm. The young quizzers impressed everyone with their ability to think critically and respond under time pressure.
Roles and Responsibilities
The competition was conducted smoothly under the able guidance of Quiz Masters, Miss Toli and Madam Kuthonulu, whose warmth and encouragement kept the participants motivated throughout. The program began with a heartfelt Invocation by Madam Regina, setting a thoughtful and positive tone for the day. The event concluded with a Benediction by Miss Chubasangla.

Results and Recognition
After a spirited and closely contested competition, the final results were as follows:
· 1st Place: Team Math Warriors – Little Giants
· 2nd Place: Team Little Calculators – Learning Bunnies
· 3rd Place: Team Math Bunnies – Learning Bunnies
· 4th Place: Team Math Magicians – Little Giants
The Math Warriors emerged as the winners of the day, earning well-deserved applause from teachers, parents, and peers alike.

The presence of parents added immense joy and warmth to the event. Their enthusiastic participation and encouraging cheers created a lively and supportive atmosphere, making the day even more memorable. Many parents expressed admiration for their children’s confidence and problem-solving abilities, appreciating how the quiz made learning mathematics both exciting and interactive.
