The Computer Science Competition of 2024 was held with great enthusiasm, bringing together budding tech enthusiasts from Classes 6, 7, and 8. The event served as a platform for students to showcase their skills in 3D Designing, Scratch Programming, and Machine Learning, highlighting their creativity, technical abilities, and innovative ideas.

The event began with a warm welcome from the host, who set a positive tone by acknowledging the efforts of the participants and the presence of esteemed guests. The invocation prayer, led by Miss Menuole-u, added a solemn and encouraging start to the competition.

The host introduced the distinguished panel of judges, including Sir Samuel, Sir Siku, and Miss Chubatila, who were tasked with evaluating the projects based on presentation, creativity, and programming skills. The introduction of participants highlighted the remarkable efforts of the students from each class:

  • Class 6: Focused on 3D Designing using Tinkercad, creating innovative 3D models.
  • Class 7: Delved into Scratch Programming, developing interactive games and animations.
  • Class 8: Explored Machine Learning with Google Teachable Machine, showcasing cutting-edge concepts.

Team 2: CODE WIZARDS (Nimalongly, Anani, Hiwa, Rosemary, Thungbemo, Andrew)

Team 3: The GENIUS GUILD (Ayenni, Subolemla, Thanggunhao, Ighika, Jaden, Liva)

Team 4: The STARGAZERS (Kilika, Ichccha, Manshi, Naksh, Hesahito

Team 1: Gesture Gurus (Linoka, Mercy, Kivinoto, Otis)

Team 2: Fruity Bytes (Nighapu, Niuke, Wonjanbeni, Holuholi)

Team 3 : Melody Minds (Pahi, Tovi, Alovito, Hututo, Mekuato)

Team 4: FlexiFrames (Kevisenuo, Winnerson, Illivi, Toship)

The audience was captivated by the ingenuity and dedication evident in every presentation.

The judges commended the participants for their creativity, innovation, and effort. Their feedback provided valuable insights and encouragement, inspiring the students to continue exploring their potential in technology.

The much-anticipated moment arrived with Miss Chubatila announcing the winners. 

The winners were : 

First position received by Class 7 – The STARGAZERS (Kilika, Ichccha, Manshi, Naksh, Hesahito)

Second position received by Class 6 – Classroom Crusaders (Anna, Joyce, Kongmong, Kenei, Tsuzolu)

Third position received by Class 8 -Fruity Bytes (Niuke, Wonjanbeni, Holuholi)

While the winners deservedly earned their accolades, all participants were celebrated for their contributions, as every project was a testament to hard work and dedication.Certificates were distributed to all participants by the school’s Administrator and teachers, recognizing their outstanding efforts and achievements in the competition.

The event concluded with a benediction by Miss Bendanglila, followed by a heartfelt thank-you from the host. Special appreciation was extended to the judges, teachers, and students for their roles in making the competition a grand success. Participants were encouraged to keep learning and innovating, with a reminder that this event marks the beginning of many future achievements.
