The kindergarten supermarket event was held on 17th June, 2023. This event has been organized with the aim to help students put their classroom
learning into action. It’s a chance to showcase their abilities where they actively participated as salespersons, accountants, cashiers, and assistants. This hands-on
experience allows the students to understand the practical aspects of, honing their skills in teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and responsibility. Moreover, this event
provides an opportunity for the students to apply their classroom knowledge in a real-life context, fostering their creativity, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.

The event was divided into two sessions. Firstly, the class A students and secondly, the
class B students. Both the sessions werewere hosted by Miss Vinita (Assistant Kindergarten Teacher), the highlight of the day began with the students welcoming the customers introducing the items in their stalls. The students took up the role of accountant, cashier, sales person and assistant and took over their own mini stalls. The students displayed their entrepreneurial skills by selling a variety of items at their assigned stalls. They showcased creativity, teamwork and a strong sense of responsibility. They interacted confidently with the customers, effectively practicing their counting, addition, subtraction, record keeping, weighing, advertising and communication skills. 

The event provided a rich learning experience for the students, helping them develop essential skills and knowledge. It provided a hands-on learning experience, promoting
cognitive development, social skills, and teamwork. The success of the pop-up market event can be attributed to the remarkable efforts of all participants, particularly the
students who demonstrated exceptional dedication and enthusiasm throughout the entire process.
