Outings are always a wonderful combination of learning and enjoyment for children. They provide opportunities for students to explore new places, build friendships, and learn important life skills outside the classroom. Keeping this in mind, the students of Class 2 went for an exciting outing to Aloha Swimming Pool on 5th March.
A total of 54 students enthusiastically participated in the trip. They were accompanied by their class teachers Miss Chubasangla and Ma’am Regina, along with Sir Siku and Sir Limha, and two helpers. The students were very excited as they set out for the outing, eagerly looking forward to a fun and memorable day.
After reaching the swimming pool, the students learned about the importance of fitness and swimming as a healthy activity. Sir Limha guided the children and patiently taught them how to swim carefully. He also explained the important rules to follow in a swimming pool, helping the students understand how to stay safe while enjoying water activities.
The children had a wonderful time in the pool. They came dressed in different types of swimming outfits and happily practiced their swimming skills. Some students displayed excellent swimming abilities. Henoka, Riyan, Albert, and Renthungo were particularly confident swimmers and showcased their swimming talents, which impressed their friends and teachers.
Apart from swimming, the students also spent time chatting, playing, and bonding with their peers. The joyful laughter and excitement around the pool showed how much they were enjoying the experience.
Later, the students sat together and had their lunch. They shared their food with one another while also respecting everyone’s comfort zone for sharing and eating. This moment of sharing made the outing even more special and strengthened the sense of friendship among the students.
With smiles and happy memories, the students finally prepared to return to school. Many of them excitedly said that they had so much fun and would ask their parents to visit Aloha Swimming Pool again.
The outing was truly a fun-filled and enriching experience, helping the students learn about fitness, swimming, teamwork, and friendship. It was a memorable day that the children will cherish for a long time.
