Grace Academy observed Charity Week from 22nd to 30th June 2026, providing students with a meaningful opportunity to learn the values of compassion, generosity, gratitude, and service. At Grace Academy, Charity Week is not observed merely as an annual tradition but as an important learning experience that helps students develop empathy and social responsibility. Through this initiative, students learn that even small acts of kindness can make a significant difference in the lives of others.

The entire Grace Academy family—including students, parents, teachers, and staff—came together to contribute generously by donating food items, clothing, toiletries, stationery, and other daily essentials. Through these collective efforts, the school was able to extend help to approximately 400 beneficiaries across different institutions and communities. Students from different classes, accompanied by their teachers, visited various organizations to distribute the collected items, while the younger students participated in a special in-school charity programme.

Charity Outreach Activities:

  • On 26th June 2026, Class 7 visited Ebenezer Children’s Home, Indisen Village, where they distributed essential items to 20 children. The visit gave students the opportunity to interact with the children and experience the joy of sharing.
  • On 29th June 2026, Class 4 visited Operation Rescue Nagaland, Burma Camp, where donations collected during Charity Week were distributed to 70 beneficiaries.
  • Also on 29th June 2026, Class 6 visited Grace Mission Orphanage, Chümoukedima, where they shared food items, clothing, and other necessities with 32 children, making the visit a memorable and enriching experience.
  • On 29th June 2026, Class 5 visited Blue Diamond Club, Assam, where essential supplies were distributed to 55 beneficiaries, bringing encouragement and joy to the children.
  • On 30th June 2026, Kindergarten to Class 3 participated in a special Charity Week programme held in the School Auditorium. Through the generous contributions received, the school was able to provide assistance to approximately 200 beneficiaries.

Throughout the week, students displayed remarkable enthusiasm, teamwork, and a genuine spirit of generosity. The outreach activities allowed them to witness firsthand the positive impact of kindness and reinforced the importance of helping those in need. These experiences encouraged students to appreciate what they have while developing compassion for others.

Charity Week 2026 concluded with hearts full of gratitude and hope. While approximately 400 beneficiaries were reached through this initiative, its greatest achievement lies in the character it helped build. The values of empathy, selflessness, and service cultivated during the week will continue to guide our students as they grow into compassionate leaders and responsible citizens.
