The Grade 5 Quiz Competition 2026 was held on 27th August 2026 at the Grace Academy Auditorium. The competition was organised to encourage students to develop their knowledge, confidence, teamwork, and quick-thinking skills in a fun and competitive environment. The students participated with great enthusiasm and displayed curiosity, confidence, and team spirit throughout the event.
The programme began with an Invocation by Madam Ngausile. The Quiz Masters, Miss Prema and Miss Withiunile, conducted the competition with enthusiasm and kept the event engaging and interactive.
Structure of the Competition –
The quiz consisted of seven main rounds:
Round 1: Quiz Buzz – English Reader and English Grammar
Round 2: Art Attack – Art
Round 3: Math QUEST – Mathematics
Round 4: Mind Marathon – Science and Mathematics
Round 5: Hindi Gyan – Hindi
Round 6: Buzzer Battle – Social Science
Round 7: Tech Connect – Computer
Each round presented a different challenge and tested the students’ knowledge, creativity, logical thinking, accuracy, and speed. The activity-based and buzzer rounds added excitement to the competition and encouraged the participants to work together as a team.
Audience Engagement Rounds
Three audience rounds were conducted to make the programme more interactive and engaging. The first two rounds were held for the students of Class 4 and Grade 5, who enthusiastically answered questions and actively participated in the excitement of the competition.
The final audience round was specially conducted for the parents. They enthusiastically participated in the quiz and tested their knowledge through a series of questions. Their involvement added a warm and enjoyable touch to the event, making the competition even more memorable for everyone present.

After an exciting and closely contested competition, the teams secured the following positions:
First Place – Team 1

Nikikali Aye, Lishom Phom, Jungtina Longchar and Sungtilong Jamir
The participants showed excellent teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship throughout the competition. The varied rounds and close contest made the quiz an exciting and enjoyable experience for both the participants and the audience.
Prize Distribution and Closing
The winners and participants were presented with prizes and Certificates of Achievement in recognition of their efforts and performance. The programme concluded with a Benediction by Miss Angule.
The Grade 5 Quiz Competition 2026 was a successful and enjoyable learning experience. It provided students with an opportunity to apply their knowledge, work as a team, think quickly, and learn in an engaging environment. The active participation of the students and parents made the event even more special. Overall, the competition was a joyful celebration of learning, teamwork, confidence, and healthy competition.
