On Tuesday, 2nd June 2026, the enthusiastic students of Grade 3 embarked on a much-awaited recreational trip to Aloha Hillside Swimming Pool. The outing was thoughtfully organized to provide the children with a refreshing break from their daily routine while promoting physical confidence, teamwork, and active participation in outdoor recreational activities.

The journey began at 9:00 AM as 48 excited students, accompanied by four teachers and one helper, boarded the bus. The ride was filled with cheerful conversations, laughter, and excitement, setting a joyful tone for the day.

Upon arriving at the venue, the students observed that the recent rains had given the pool water a noticeable greenish appearance. After a safety briefing by the teachers, the children changed into their swimwear and proceeded to the designated swimming pool under close supervision.

At first, many students were hesitant and nervous about entering the water. However, with constant encouragement from their teachers and enthusiastic support from their classmates, they gradually overcame their fears and gained confidence. Soon, the pool was filled with laughter, splashing, and exciting water games as everyone enjoyed themselves while following the safety guidelines.

In addition to swimming, the venue also featured a pool table, which quickly became another highlight of the trip. The children were fascinated by the game and eagerly took turns lining up the colorful balls and using the cue sticks to make their shots. The activity brought plenty of laughter, friendly competition, and opportunities to learn a new skill.

After an energetic swimming session and indoor games, the group gathered together to dry off, relax, and enjoy a delicious lunch by the poolside. Sharing a meal in the pleasant outdoor setting provided an excellent opportunity for students and teachers to bond and create lasting memories.

With tired bodies but joyful hearts, the students boarded the bus for the journey back to school. The recreational trip was a memorable and rewarding experience that not only strengthened the students’ confidence in the water but also fostered teamwork, friendship, and a spirit of togetherness. It was truly a fun-filled day that everyone will cherish for a long time.
