The Class 1 General Quiz Competition was successfully conducted on 18th March 2026 at 12:30 pm in the school auditorium. The programme was hosted by the quiz masters, Miss Temsurenla and Miss Temjenjungla, and began with an invocation by Miss Vinika, seeking God’s blessings for the event.

The programme commenced with the introduction of the participants, followed by a series of exciting and engaging rounds designed to test the students’ knowledge, creativity, and thinking skills.

The competition included The Grammar & Reader Quest, Art Adventures (a visual round), and Tech Activity Round conducted by Miss Bendangmenla. An audience round for Class 2 added enthusiasm and participation from the young audience.

Further rounds included Guess the Story (a picture buzzer round), The Base-Ten Block Battle & Logic Puzzle Round conducted by Miss Libo, and Hindi Hurdles (a worksheet round) conducted by Madam Ngausile. Another audience round for Class 1 kept the energy lively and interactive.

The final rounds of the competition were EVS Explorers and Skip & Add (a rapid-fire round), which tested the students’ quick thinking and subject knowledge.

A special highlight of the programme was the parents’ round, Story Sequencing, where three parent volunteers actively participated using magnetic boards and buzzers, making the event even more engaging and enjoyable. Atoki’s mother, Madam Swutoli Assumi, emerged as the winner of this round.

All the teams participated with great enthusiasm, confidence, and teamwork throughout the competition. The winners were declared by the quiz masters, Miss Temsurenla and Miss Temjenjungla.

The certificates were presented to the participants by the Administrator, Sir Ketoulhou Sekhose, in appreciation of their efforts and achievements.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Miss Temsurenla, followed by a benediction by Madam Ngausile. The event ended with a photo session involving the Administrator, class teachers, winners, parents, and teacher in-charges.

The successful conduct of the programme was made possible by the dedicated efforts of the teachers and staff. The Teacher In-Charges included the quiz masters, Madam Temsurenla and Miss Temjenjungla, along with support from Sir Imnok (sound system), Sir Ata (stage in-charge), Sir Ahadur (projection/visuals), Miss Libo and Sir Zuthungo Kithan (scorekeepers), Miss Keneiwenuo (buzzer observer), Sir Raja (timekeeper), Madam Ngausile and Miss Sungtiben (audience round observers), Miss Vinika (certificate writing and distribution), and Sir Imkongmar (photography/videography).

The quiz competition was a fun-filled and enriching learning experience that encouraged curiosity, participation, and confidence among the students. It was truly a joyful and memorable event for everyone involved.
