From 15th June to 20th June 2026, the students of Nursery, Class A, and Class B enthusiastically participated in Kindness Challenge Week. The aim of the week was to encourage children to practice kindness in their daily lives and understand the importance of being caring, respectful, and helpful. Each day focused on a different theme such as Kindness at Home, Using Kind Words, Kindness to Nature, Helping Others, and Showing Respect and Gratitude. Students were given five kindness challenges daily, and their efforts were recorded in their Kindness Cards by teachers and parents.

Throughout the week, students eagerly took part in a variety of kindness activities. Some of the challenges included watering a plant, taking a mindful walk in nature, giving a thumbs-up or compliment to a friend, helping with household chores, and using kind words throughout the day. These simple yet meaningful activities encouraged children to be more thoughtful of others and their environment. Many students were excited to share their experiences and proudly talked about the kind acts they had performed.

Parents also shared positive feedback about the changes they noticed at home. One heartwarming note was shared by the parents of Nuivi Assumi (Class B), who wrote:

Today Nuivi hugged me and said ‘I love you’ when I came home. He usually have small argument with his sister over the TV remote and channel he want to watch but he was very tolerant today and let his sister do her wishes. I see him quite helping and understanding over these two days.”

Similarly, Aiko (Class A) proudly told his teacher, “Miss, I helped carry water to my mother.” Such moments reflected the children’s growing sense of responsibility and kindness towards others.

The Kindness Challenge Week was a meaningful and successful initiative that helped students develop empathy, compassion, and positive social values. It was heartwarming to see the children practicing kindness both in school and at home, creating a positive impact through their everyday actions.
